This morning the kids were off to attend this year’s Camp Brainstorm. Thanks to you, so were 75+ handmade, purple plushies to keep the campers, counselors and staff company on the TX beach. I can’t tell you how touched I am by the volunteer response. We got so many wonderful gifts that PSP can now get back 0n track with sending knit & crocheted stuffed toys to kids all over the country.
Thank you!

I am in the process of making several items for your Purple Stitch Project. I have purchased 6 yards of light purple fleece, several yards of purple cotton in varying prints, and ‘flesh’ colored cotton for dolls. I noticed in the pictures you posted that practically all of the items are either knitted or crocheted. Although I know how to do both, arthritis in my thumbs prevents me from making that type of toy. So I hope that the sewn dolls and toys I donate in sizes 12 to 18 inches will be suitable for the children.
